Stop Parkinson Walk

On Sunday 23 August 2020 Ivo de Bisschop left the Casino of Ostend on the journey of his life. With the Stop Parkinson Walk Ivo wants to walk around Belgium in 49 days, from border post to border post, in order to collect attention and money for research into Parkinson’s disease. Ivo was diagnosed three years ago as suffering from the disease, for which there is as yet no cure. The goal is to raise € 1,000,000 through the Stop Parkinson Walk, as a fundraiser for research into the disease. In this way, the Stop Parkinson Walk becomes a journey to explore and push back frontiers.

Day One set up the press campaign for this amazing project, establishing coverage in national and regional media, Dilbeek – the town where Ivo lives and Ostend – the city where the walk started.
