Minions: The Rise of Gru

Holy Guacamole! On the 9th of November, the world’s biggest animated franchise went back to the beginning. The world’s biggest supervillain, Gru, meets his iconic Minions and forms the most terrible crew in film history with them. Starring Steve Carell, Julie Andrews, Jean-Claude van Damme and Russel Brand.

Day One took care of the PR and influencer campaign in the Benelux. This consisted of several giveaways, promotional activations and influencer collaborations. In order to do this, we sent out exclusive Minions press kits to give everyone the full Minions experience at home. We also collaborated for this campaign with Taartentatyana, whose video has gone viral on tiktok with over 3.4M views by now.
